Competition Rules
All games shall be played in accordance with the FIH Rules of Hockey and those set out by Hockey South Australia. Maximum of 15 players per team. At the discretion of the coordinator the competition may be held as 9 a side competition due to the impact of reduced field size. Each team will supply at least one umpire wearing a Fluoro top for umpiring duties during the competition. The First named team must supply a match ball of suitable standard. A point scoring system based on team age will be utilised to determine game outcomes. Dress Code Each team must wear matching tops of the same colour, matching shorts or skirts of the same colour and socks of the same colour. Tops shorts & socks do not have to match by colour. Code of Conduct All players and spectators will abide with the FIH Rules of Hockey and those set out by Hockey South Australia. Equipment Used Current Standard Legal size hockey stick and goal keeping gear. Footwear suitable for natural grass – Sprigs, Grass cats or turf shoes. Facilities: canteen, bar, toilets, disabled access facilities, parking.
